Christmas is the best time of the year. As December starts it brings happiness, Joys and Cheers with itself. Christmas season’s air is always filled with love and care. As December starts, in the first week of advent, ever year capuchin youth starts putting charity stalls of handmade Christmas cards, Christmas decorations, Christmas Wreath and many other ornaments of Christmas tree. The purpose of these stalls are to collect money for those who are needy and poor. Capuchin youth also collects warm clothes like sweaters, jerseys, coats, new dresses as charity for the poor people. There are many poor families on Brick kiln who every year waits for Capuchin youth of Pakistan who becomes Christmas Santa for these families.On 23rd December 2019 It was cold Monday morning and all the members of capuchin youth reached church early morning with the spirit of joy and love. The truck was waiting in church to put all the gift hampers in it, which was full of groceries, new dresses, warm clothes, packs of dry fruits and also small gift packs for kids. Almost 9 o’clock capuchin youth left church for the people of Jia Bagha. There are many Christian people working on Brick kiln since long under the non-Christians. They are the poor people who are neglected and rejected from society.Under the kind guidance of Director Rev. Fr. Francis Sabir OFM CAP, Capuchin youth and few more people from parish organization reached on brick kiln after travelling an hour. Around 80 poor Christian people were already gathered there and were waiting anxiously for Capuchin youth. There was a muddy ground covered with tent where all sitting arrangements were done. Our Director Rev. Fr. Francis Sabir Celebrated mass with them and gave them beautiful message of Christmas joy and hope. Fr. Francis also asked them to do hard work and send your kids to school as they are the future of tomorrow. After that Capuchin youth cut the cake with all the deserving families and had Christmas lunch together. Then Capuchin youth distributed Christmas Gift Hampers to them and that was the beautiful moment when everyone can see a light of happiness in the eyes of those people. Then our director Rev. Fr. Francis Sabir also distributed small gift packs and dry fruit packets to the kids. The people of Jia Bagha Brick Kiln were very happy. This is the real Christmas joy every year we share with other.
